Before I tell you what task I’m beginning tomorrow, a torturous and unintersting pursuit, here is a painting going to Williamsburg, Virginia next week. I just finished (at least, I think it’s finished today. we’ll see about tomorrow.).

I wish that promotion wasn’t needed by my little business. I would be very happy to simply paint and write all day. I’m sick of algorithmic tinkering.

Hello!

I figure I have twenty years left to leave a mark on this world. Ten years ago I left restaurant life to become an artist. Now I am ready to call myself one. I am asking you to subscribe to Million Dollar Garage, an archive I am building for my son, his future children, my nieces, my nephews, and anyone else who may be interested.

My goals are simple. Go to heaven. Do simple commerce. Show people they are not trapped. Romans 12:2-9, my blueprint. I have published over seventy posts already. Some about art and faith, and thirty about my wife’s lunch (Bento Wiz, a devotional). I hope that you think that my goals are noble, and I hope that by joining you’ll help me achieve them.

I make abstract art. I publish Million Dollar Garage and Bento Wiz. They are three versions of the my story and they live together here on Substack, a website that also works like a newsletter.
